Projects & customer rights

What must be agreed before work begins.

Updated · 30 October 2026

Your supplier and scope

Brivendale Digital Ltd, company 17516111. Registered office: 66 Paul Street, London, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NA. Email support@brivendale.co.uk.

We work with individuals and businesses. Someone buying wholly or mainly outside their business may have consumer rights; a label or checkbox does not remove them. Appropriate arrangements must be agreed before accepting training for a young person.

This site takes enquiries only. A written order must establish the actual contract and its acceptance process before work is booked.

The written order

Your proposal and retainable order confirmation must state:

  • The task, deliverables, formats, supported tools and acceptance checks.
  • Inputs, access, permissions and responsibilities.
  • The total price or calculation, mandatory charges, required third-party costs and who pays them.
  • Payment dates, any deposit, timing, milestones, included revisions and handover.
  • Ownership or licence terms for bespoke work, existing components and third-party assets.
  • Any separately agreed care duration, renewal and cancellation terms.
  • Applicable customer rights and any separate, lawful early-start choice.

An enquiry does not agree these terms for you. We do not begin consumer work before providing the required confirmation and addressing any early-start choice.

Price, inputs and changes

We are not registered for UK VAT and do not add UK VAT. The written order confirms the price or calculation, including required charges. International tax treatment is assessed for the actual customer and supply. Payment timing, method and any deposit belong in that order; a deposit is not automatically non-refundable.

Supply only material and access you are entitled to provide. Use an agreed secure route for protected information. If a missing input affects timing, we explain the impact and agree the next step. Work outside the scope requires an agreed written change and price before it starts.

Delivery and review

We supply the agreed work with reasonable care and skill, perform the agreed checks and identify material limitations. The order defines your review process and included revisions. A revision allowance does not limit statutory remedies for deficient work.

Tell us if a deliverable does not meet the agreement. A delivery or review step is not a waiver of rights you cannot lawfully waive.

Tools, confidentiality and ownership

AI, integrations and other platforms require defined permissions, costs, human review and escalation arrangements. A scoped agent is not a promise of unlimited autonomy or universal accuracy. These limitations do not remove our responsibility for the work we agreed to provide.

You retain rights in your supplied material. The order must distinguish bespoke deliverables, pre-existing methods and third-party assets, and state any ownership transfer or licence. Not every third-party component or AI output can be assigned exclusively.

Private knowledge, credentials and confidential work are not material for resale or an unapproved portfolio. Case-study permission is separate. If we process personal data on your instructions, suitable processing terms and approved tools must be agreed before access.

Cancellation, remedies and ending work

Consumers buying at a distance should read the cancellation information and model form, also supplied with a qualifying order. Services must meet applicable standards, including reasonable care and skill. Remedies can include repeat performance or a price reduction where the legal conditions are met.

Outside a statutory cancellation right, any charge for ending work must have a lawful, fair basis. It must reflect justified loss, account for costs saved and reasonable loss reduction, and avoid penalties or double recovery. Unearned payments are not automatically retained.

Care and responsibility

Published care plans are proposals, not active service agreements. Each care order must state checks, allowances, response arrangements, billing, duration, renewal, termination and exclusions. There is no implied lifetime support, unlimited usage, 24/7 monitoring or resolution guarantee.

Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud and death or personal injury caused by negligence. For consumers, we remain responsible where the law makes us responsible, including reasonably foreseeable loss arising from a failure to meet the agreement or use reasonable care and skill.

No universal business liability cap or exclusive international court requirement is imposed by this enquiry page. Applicable contract terms must respect mandatory protections and court rights. Contact support@brivendale.co.uk about any problem.
